Inquire within.

Keri believes that the name "Teacher Training" is entirely insufficient to describe the process of immersion and introspection that occurs in this group setting. It is #somuchmorethanteachertraining!

Here's what you'll find.

1. The tools teach safely and intelligently, if you so desire.
You can expect extensive alignment, anatomy and biomechanics knowledge to apply to your teaching and/or your home practice. Each asana will be broken down in great detail, with muscular actions, variations for injuries, and ways accommodate many different body types. You will learn how to do hands-on assists in a healing and supportive way. You will create intelligent and skillful sequences based on a peak pose, a desired energetic effect, or a specific anatomical action. You can expect to practice teach from the very beginning and on a daily basis, and use progressive exercises and consistent feedback to build your confidence and hone your skills.

2. A total immersion in all aspects of the practice.
Keri believes that this practice of yoga is so much more than shapes we may or may not create with our bodies. The posture is not the point. The engagement and attention we bring to the practice is far more the yoga than any posture. You will be asked to make a commitment to this process, to be present 100% of the time. In addition to intensive asana practice and breakdown, you will develop a daily meditation practice. You will explore many pranayama techniques and their effects within your body and on your energetic experience. You will be educated on the history, philosophy, and evolution of this practice. You will learn to apply the principles of this ancient wisdom into your daily life.

3. A voice that is true for you.
Keri is not interested in parroting; in saying what you think you're supposed to say because it sounds "yogic". She is interested in getting to know you, in being able to draw more of your gifts out. Whether you are interested in teaching or not, these teaching exercises develop a strong, clear, uniquely you voice that you can bring into a studio, or simply feel confident in when you need to have a challenging conversation with a boss or a loved one. It also provides the opportunity to see how we treat ourselves internally, and we respond when we find ourselves in sticky or uncomfortable situations.

4. The time to hone in on what you most want to create in your life and to understand what you're ready to leave behind.
It is of the utmost importance for Keri that there is a safe space created for you look inward. This is a challenging process of asking tough questions, and taking the time to feel and reflect, knowing that you have the support of like minded people as you do so.

Notes from Keri and Her Students

"This process is my greatest challenge and also my greatest reward. I am so grateful that I get to be a part of this connecting to and unfolding of hearts, including my own."

"Graduating from Keri's 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training has been one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. After having gone through a traumatic experience, I was searching for a way to find my voice and regain my sense of self. I had no idea if I wanted to be a teacher, but my heart was focused on finding my true north. Keri's genuine compassion towards others, her tact for guiding students towards their goals, and her open heart are just a few of the traits that make her such a beautiful and amazing teacher. Keri welcomes all students, no matter where they are on their journey in this crazy life, to dive head first into self-exploration, discovery, and ultimately, self-love."

"Seva Yoga Teacher Training with Keri Bergeron is an opportunity that you do not want to pass up. Unparalleled knowledge, self exploration, and a sense of community are just a few of the amazing components of this training. Keri is not only an incredibly talented yoga teacher/trainer, but also one of the most wonderful humans you will meet. Seva TT helped me grow in ways I didn't think we're possible- mentally, spiritually and physically. Those 200 hours, though challenging, created the most important experience of my life thus far. If I could do it all over again, I most certainly would. Get ready to have your life changed, in the best way possible."

"I embraced the idea of teacher training knowing that I might cultivate a deeper understanding of the practice. What I could not predict is that this training would effect many areas of my life off the mat as well. While often challenging and time consuming, those nine weeks of training had me feeling more in tune with my physical body and emotional mind than I had ever felt before. I find that I now have more patience for myself, for others, and for my yoga practice as a whole. I've noticed significant changes in the way I interact with my external environment. It has sharpened my ability to foster appreciation for the present moment without always anticipating what is next to come. This teacher training has also taught me to slow down, take a breath, and alter my own inner narrative to one of positivity and compassion. I absolutely recommend this training to anyone who is willing to meet themselves where they're at with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. Your external yoga practice will no doubt improve, but that falls second to the invaluable lessons you will come to know about yourself, how best to harness your own inner emotions, and how this practice's teachings will apply to so many areas of your life. This training is just the beginning and I promise you won't regret it!"
